Why we built RootCue: the next action is the product
RootPro Technologies · Updated · 4 min read
We kept meeting business owners who had tried a CRM and given up. Not because CRMs are bad, but because they ask for pipelines, stages and fields before they give anything back. A barber doesn't have a pipeline. He has 40 regulars and a busy Saturday.
What every one of them needed was simpler: tell me who needs me today, and why. So we built RootCue around a single object — the next action — and made everything else serve it.
Three promises
- Simple enough for a barber to understand in a minute.
- Reliable enough for a salesperson to depend on every morning.
- Respectful of existing systems: work with your CRM, never force you to replace it.
What we won't do
- Message your customers on our own.
- Read your call logs or record calls.
- Invent revenue numbers to look impressive.
- Sell or train AI on your customers' data.
