RootCue for tailors & boutiques
Every order delivered on the day you promised
A boutique runs on promises: trial on Tuesday, delivery before the function, balance at pickup. RootCue keeps each order's next promise — and the balance — so nothing is forgotten in the festival rush.
How the loop works
- Step 1
Take the order
“2 blouses stitching ₹1,600 — ₹600 advance.” Choose the trial or delivery date.
- Step 2
Trial & delivery
On the day, RootCue reminds you to message the customer. Reschedule with one tap if the tailor needs more time.
- Step 3
Balance collected
The balance stays visible until you mark it received. Then ask for a review.
Typical intervals

Trial
Hi Revathi, your lehenga trial is tomorrow at 5 pm. Please bring the jewellery you'll wear so we can check the neckline.
Common mistakes
- Writing delivery dates on the bill and never looking again until the customer calls.
- Letting balances pile up during festival season.
- Forgetting measurements notes — keep them in the customer's notes in RootCue.
Festival rush without missed promises
In the two weeks before Diwali, a busy boutique can take 60+ orders. RootCue sorts deliveries by date and shows overdue promises first, so you call those customers before they call you.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a customer result.
Questions
- Can I keep measurements?
- Yes — add them to the customer's notes. They stay private to your business.
- Can I send a photo on WhatsApp?
- RootCue opens WhatsApp with the message ready; you can attach photos there as usual.
