RootCue for barbers
Your regulars, back in the chair on time
Most barber shops don't lose customers to a better salon. They lose them to forgetting. A customer who came every 3–4 weeks quietly stretches to 6, then tries the new place near the metro. RootCue remembers when each person is due and tells you who to message today.
How the loop works
- Step 1
After the cut
Type the name, phone and what you did (e.g. “Fade + beard ₹450”). Choose when they should come back — 21, 25 or 30 days.
- Step 2
On the due day
RootCue puts them on your Today screen: “Rajesh is due for another visit.” Tap WhatsApp; a friendly message is ready.
- Step 3
They book or walk in
Tap Done. RootCue suggests the next reminder in 25 days so the loop continues without you thinking about it.

Revisit
Hi Rajesh, it's been about 3 weeks since your last cut at Style Point. Want me to keep a slot for you this weekend?
Review request
Thanks for coming in today, Karthik! If you liked the cut, a quick Google review really helps a small shop like ours: <your review link>
Common mistakes
- Sending the same broadcast to everyone every Sunday — it feels like spam and people mute you.
- Waiting until a regular has already missed a month before reaching out.
- Keeping numbers in your personal phone with no note of when they last came.
A small shop, 40 regulars
If 40 regulars each come once every 25 days, that's about 48 visits a month. When even 8 of them slip to every 40 days, you quietly lose around 10 visits a month. RootCue's job is simply to make sure the right 3–4 people get a personal message each day — no campaigns, no discounts required.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a customer result.
Questions
- Do my customers need to install anything?
- No. You message them on WhatsApp or call them as you do today. Only you use RootCue.
- Will RootCue message customers automatically?
- No. RootCue prepares the message and you decide whether to send it. Nothing goes out on its own.
- Can I use it in Tamil or Hindi?
- Yes. The app works in English, Tamil and Hindi, and your message templates can be in any of them.
