RootCue for service centres
Every job closed. Every customer back for the next service.
A service centre has three leaks: finished jobs nobody picked up, balances nobody chased, and customers whose next service date came and went. RootCue turns each job into clear next actions — pickup, payment, next service — and puts them in front of you on the right day.
How the loop works
- Step 1
Job comes in
Log the customer and the job (“Screen replacement ₹2,400”). Choose when it'll be ready.
- Step 2
Ready for pickup
On the day, RootCue shows “Ready for pickup” with the balance due. One tap sends a WhatsApp with the amount.
- Step 3
Next service
When you mark the pickup done, RootCue suggests the service reminder — 90 days for bikes, 6 months for cars and ACs.
Typical intervals
Starting points — RootCue lets you set your own per customer.
| Bike general service | Every 2,500–3,000 km or ~90 days |
|---|---|
| Car periodic service | 6 months / 10,000 km (as per manual) |
| AC service (split) | Before summer, and every 6 months in heavy use |
| Phone repair pickup | Same or next day |
Messages you can send
Sample wording. You review and send every message yourself.
Pickup
Hi Suresh, your car is ready at Speedway Car Care. Balance due: ₹3,200. We're open till 8 pm today.
Service due
Hi Farhan, your car's 6-month service is due. Shall we book a slot this week? Pick-up and drop is available.
Common mistakes
- Keeping pending balances in a notebook that only one person checks.
- Losing the customer's number because the job card was thrown away.
- Never calling for the next service because nobody noted the date.
Balances you actually collect
If 12 jobs a week leave with a small balance pending and a third are never chased, that's money earned and never received. RootCue shows each pending payment with its amount on Today until you mark it received — calmly, without “YOU ARE LOSING MONEY” alarms.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a customer result.
Questions
- Does it work for bike, car, mobile and AC service alike?
- Yes. You pick your business type and RootCue uses the right reminder types and default intervals; you can change any of them.
- Can I import my existing customer list?
- Yes. Upload a CSV from Excel. RootCue checks for duplicates by phone and never overwrites existing records.
